Sessions are usually conducted in groups, in which participants work in pairs and will alternate in the roles of "rebirthers" who do the breathing and rebirthing work; and "companions" who assist and are present for their trance. The entire process is supervised by a fully trained facilitator with extensive experience in both personal and group guidance, who will assist the participants in any necessary intervention.
In a Rebirthing session each participant will perform a complete therapy that aims to recall the birth trance, and through this field heal the primary bond with the mother in the prenatal, perinatal and postnatal stages.
Both in its practical and theoretical part, Rebirthing combines and integrates several elements of recent research in transpersonal psychology, as well as methods of Eastern and native spirituality, which is mainly characterized by therapy that acts on a primary level of the body (Autonomic Nervous System) where there is only sensation and the Non-Word.
It differs substantially from traditional forms of psychotherapy, psychoanalysis and other currents of clinical psychology whose main focus is intervention through words.
That is to say, through this intervention it will be possible to access levels where other therapies (which include speech) do not work.
During the Rebirthing experience, primary emotions, natal traumas, unconscious blocks and self-limiting introjects are released. The birth passage is represented and in some cases it will be possible to remember in detail this transit.
Thus one will be in an ideal state to elaborate a new resolution, whose energy will be impregnated in the nervous system giving by effect a greater capacity to take love (All) and life (parents) with its losses and realities.
