Offerings

An alliance

During the offering we symbolize the alliance of Mother Earth represented in the sacred space that we form in our Medicine Circle. We give thanks to honor our Mother Earth for the gifts granted and this gratitude is extended to all to generate the space of life and sharing (ayni).

Andean Dispatch

The Andean despacho is the offering to Mother Earth, in which we are going to restore in ayni (balance) all that she has given us in ceremony and out of ceremony.

In the Andean tradition, an despacho is the offering made to Mother Earth. It is a "Waca" or a sacred space or field, unique and intangible. In this act a spiritual alliance is established that benefits those who participate.

Pachamama is the giver of life and the gratitude is welcomed and as soon as it is done with the intention from the depth of the heart and life.

At this level Mother Earth always sends her signals of reception on the offering.

Within the space, each participant is invited to get rid of some material or immaterial object, so that this serves as a gift, offering or sacrifice (sense of ayni) to Pachamama, since she welcomes the gift the greater the emotion involved in that sense.
